SHIRA PROMOTES BROOKE BOARDER TO VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES,
EXPANDS MANAGEMENT TEAM

NEWTON, MA July 29, 2002 – Shira Computers, LTD., creator of automated preprint production and workflow management solutions for the worldwide prepress, printing and publishing markets, has promoted Brooke Boarder to the position of Vice President of Sales, World Wide. Boarder, in his previous position as Shira’s Director of North American Sales, was a key member of the team that built Shira’s customer base in North America. This promotion signifies the continued confidence of Shira in the team now in place to continue its effort toward brand globalization, growth and profitability.

Boarder brings more than 35 years of sales, sales management and print production experience to the Shira team. He has held a variety of positions in companies such as Scitex America, Creo, DS Screen, International Paper and ISDC, an independent Optronics distributor founded by Boarder. His career has spanned the sales continuum from account executive, to regional and national sales management roles, and founder of an industry dealership.

“I am excited by the challenge of introducing Shira’s workflow solutions to the prepress and printing industries” said Boarder. “Shira’s open solutions provide an innovative alternative for customers looking to extend the lifecycle of existing equipment and thereby increase profitability.”

“We are very pleased to have Brooke head our sales activities and become an integral part of the management team,” said Boris Poberezsky, CEO of Shira. “Brooke's extensive industry and sales management experience bring a client-oriented viewpoint to his role that is invaluable to a growing organization such as Shira.”

"Vice President of Sales was a natural progression for Boarder”, continued Poberezsky. "He has consistently delivered and contributed to the company's growth in his previous roles of Central Regional Manager and Director of North American Sales. Boarder is a good lead for Shira’s world wide sales team. He’ll also play a key role in developing new programs, services and strategic partnerships that increase awareness, sales and market share.”
