MARC MASCARA JOINS SHIRA TEAM AS DIRECTOR,
TECHNICAL SALES EVANGELIST
Former Worldwide Product Marketing Manager of
Brisque Technology
Will Drive Shira Product Strategies
NEWTON, MA, September 9, 2002 – Shira Computers, LTD., creator
of automated preprint production and workflow management solutions
for the worldwide prepress, printing and publishing markets, today
announced the addition of Marc Mascara to its marketing and sales
teams. Mr. Mascara has over 15 years of extensive experience in
international sales and marketing in the electronic prepress and
emerging telephony marketplaces.
“We envision Marc becoming a strong voice for Shira”,

has been intimately involved in workflow technology from the ground-up
and he understands the technological challenges faced by today’s

him for success in his role of Director, Technical Sales Evangelist

In the role of Director Technical Sales Evangelist, Marc will work
directly with the market in both the pre-sales and post-sales arenas.
He is also responsible for working with the core Shira development
team to ensure that the Shira technology meets the demands of the
global market space. “Marc is a strong multi-discipline contributor
who will help draft, articulate and drive product strategies for
Shira's market success,” concludes Poberezsky.
MASCARA
NAMED SHIRA TECHNICAL SALES DIRECTOR
Prior to joining Shira, Mr. Mascara held a variety of marketing
and business development positions at Creo Corporation, CreoScitex
and Scitex, LTD. Most recently he was responsible for the worldwide
product marketing of Creo's Brisque technology, where he managed
the roadmap and financial business of the product line and related
services. In addition to his extensive graphic arts background,
Mascara led the emerging technology group with Digital Art Exchange,
(DAX), then a telephony start-up.
Mr. Mascara is a prominent industry speaker and conference panelist.
He holds a Masters Degree from Clemson University, as well as Engineering
and Bachelor of Science degrees in Industrial Management Technology.
